A weekend of music is being held at The Telegraph pub in Deal to raise money for Demelza children’s hospice.
The Shepherd Neame pub in Hamilton Road is offering karaoke on Friday, May 1, a disco on Saturday, May 2, and live music on Sunday, May 3.

A total of 20 new jobs are to be created as part of the £2.4 million transformation of the Royal Wells Hotel in Tunbridge Wells. Work began on the Grade II listed 18th century hotel in January, and there is less than a month to go before it reopens on Thursday, May 7. It is the single largest refurbishment project ever for Faversham-based brewery Shepherd Neame, who took over the hotel in 2012.
