SHEPHERD NEAME SHOWCASES DIVERSITY OF BEER PORTFOLIO AT NEW BLUEWATER POP-UP SHOP

Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame is teaming up with trade organisation Produced in Kent to showcase the diversity of its beer portfolio at shopping and leisure destination Bluewater.
 
The independent family brewery is selling a range of its brands in a new Produced in Kent pop-up shop at the Greenhithe centre, opened to mark the launch of the Taste of Kent Awards 2022, the annual ceremony recognising outstanding food and drink in the county. Shepherd Neame is sponsoring the Kent Sustainable Food and Drink Business of the Year category.
 
Beers from Shepherd Neame’s award-winning Whitstable Bay and Bear Island collections will be among those on offer, along with a selection of gift packs perfect for the festive season, including winter favourite Christmas Ale. Visitors will also be able to enter an exclusive prize draw to win a selection of branded goodies. Details of how to enter will be promoted in store.

Produced in Kent’s Chief Executive Floortje Hoette said: “We are thrilled to finally have a physical space in Kent to showcase our members’ products, but also to explain to the customer what the Produced in Kent logo stands for: high-quality, locally produced sustainable food and drink with a clear Kent signature."
 
Located on the Lower Thames Walk of Bluewater, the Produced in Kent shop has welcomed customers since the end of October, with its official launch yesterday (Thursday, 11 November). Initially opening for six months, it hopes to extend its tenure if successful.
