Terms & Conditions
1. No purchase necessary; however internet access and a valid email account is required.
2. To Enter: send up to three wildlife or outdoor photos to [email protected]
3. Entry Restrictions: Maximum of three entries per person during the entire Promotion Period.
4. The Prize: One winner will receive a £250 Shepherd Neame Gift Card. Up to 10 runners up will receive a £50 Shepherd Neame Gift Card each.
5. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative.
6. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
7. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of prizes from the date of winner acceptance
8. Winner Selection: All valid entries received by the Promoter during the Promotion Period will be judged by a panel.
9. Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted via email by 09:00 on Monday, February 6, and will be required to respond as instructed within 5 days to claim the Prize. If the winner does not respond within 5 days, the Prize will be forfeited.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
11. All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any Prize awarded will be void.
12. The Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
13. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
14. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other promotional platform.
15. Any and all personal data supplied for the running of this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose unless your positive consent has been obtained. 16. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
17. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
18. The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these terms and conditions If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.
19. The names and counties of the winners will be available by sending a self-addressed envelope to: Marketing Dept. Shepherd Neame Ltd, 17 Court Street, Faversham, Kent. ME13 7AX. This will be available from one month following the end of the Promotion Period for a period for 3 calendar months. The winner(s) may object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during Winner Notification. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
20. By entering this Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
21. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
22. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
23. This Promotion is governed by English Law and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
