Random Acts of Beeriness 2019 - Prize Draw Full Terms and Conditions

1. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Shepherd Neame Limited, their families, agents or anyone else professionally connected with this Promotion.

2. Promotion Periods: Enter between 00.01 GMT on 1st December 2019 and 23.59 GMT on 12th December 2019 there will be 12 daily Prize Draws (“Daily Draws”), each with a Promotional Period as defined below:

4. To Enter:

Go to https://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/randomacts and complete the online form with your details (full name, email address and date of birth) and marketing preferences to select which draw(s) to enter, to be entered into the relevant days’ Prize Draw and the Grand Draw.

5. Entry Restrictions:
a) Daily Draws: Maximum of one entry per person per day.

b) Entrants who enter any draw between 00.01 GMT 1^st December 2019 and 23.59 GMT 11^th December 2019 will also be entered into the Day 12 draw for the ‘Beeriness Bonus’ Grand prize.

6. All entries must be received by the end of the Promotion Period to be valid . No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

7. The Prizes: One winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries for each particular day’s Prize Draw to receive the relevant prize as detailed below:

Day 5	Classic Collection - one case of 1698 (8 x 500ml), once case of India Pale Ale (8 x 500ml), one case of Double Stout (8 x 500ml) and one case of Bishops Finger (8 x 500ml)
Day 6	Whitstable Bay Organic Ale Explorer pack – one case of Whitstable Bay Organic Ale, 1 Whitstable Bay t-shirt and one Whitstable Bay pint glass.
Day 7	Two cases Shepherd Neame Christmas ale (16 x 500ml total)
Day 8	Overnight stay and dinner for two at a Shepherd Neame managed house – valid in participating venues (see Further prize details below)
Day 9	Spitfire Home Bar Pack – one case of Spitfire Amber (8 x 500ml), a pair of branded pint glasses, Spitfire bar blade bottle opener and a Spitfire branded bar runner.
Day 10	Home of the Hop Pack – one case Master Brew ale (8 x 500ml), one Shepherd Neame bar runner, pair Shepherd Neame pint glasses
Day 11	Whitstable Bay Home Bar Pack – one case of Whitstable Bay Pale Ale (8 x 500ml), rubber bar runner, and a pair of pint glasses.
Day 12	Beeriness Bonus (one of each of the above)

8. Further prize details:

a. The Promoter encourages responsible drinking and would direct consumers to read http://www.drinkaware.co.uk for more information.

b. The winner on Day 8 / 12 of the Prize Draw will receive a voucher valid for one overnight stay at the winner’s choice from a selection of Shepherd Neame Managed Houses detailed below, plus food / drink to the value of £80. The winner has a choice of the following venues:

b) Botany Bay Hotel, Broadstairs

c) Conningbrook Hotel, Ashford,

9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and there is no cash alternative or any other form of compensation available.

10. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.

11. Please note that Prizes may not arrive in time for Christmas. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of Prizes from the date of winner acceptance.

12. Winner Selection:
a. Day 1 to Day 11 Winners: One winner will be picked for each of the daily Prize Draws (11 Winners) within 28 working days of the end of the Promotional Periods, at random, from all valid entries received for each draw by the Promoter.

b. The Day 12 Winner: One winner will be picked at random, from all valid entries received by the Promoter from all of the Daily Draws. The Prize Draw will be conducted within 14 working days of the closing date of the Promotion Period.

13. Winner Notification: All winners will be contacted via the email address provided on entry within 14 working days of the end of the Promotional Periods and will be required to respond to confirm eligibility plus acceptance of the prize within 14 days of initial contact. If contacted, winners will be provided with details on how to claim their prize. The Prize must be claimed within 28 days of receiving the claim details. In the event a winner does not respond to communications within the 14 days of initial contact or does not claim their Prize within 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and not re-award the prize.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

15. All entries must be made by the entrant themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any Prize awarded will be void.

16. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

17. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter or Facebook. You understand that you are providing information to the Promoter and not to Twitter or Facebook. The information you provide will only be used for fulfilment of this Promotion unless you have agreed to its use for any other purpose. By entering the Promotion all participants agree to a complete liability release for Twitter or Facebook. All entries will be subject to Twitter and Facebook terms of use which can be found at www.twitter.com and www.facebook.com.

18. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Promoter and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose, unless we have your consent. Entrants’ personal data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at: http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/privacy-policy.

19. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any prize. Nothing shall exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

20. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.

21. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.

22. Winners may be requested to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion.

23. The names and counties of the winners will be available by sending a self-addressed envelope to: Marketing Dept. Shepherd Neame Ltd, 17 Court Street, Faversham, Kent. ME13 7AX. This will be available from 1^st February 2020 for 3 months. The winner(s) may object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during Winner Notification. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

24. By entering this Promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

25. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

26. The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters relating to this Promotion, and no correspondence shall be entered into.

27. This Promotion is governed by English Law and participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
