Running through the heart of the Faversham brewery campus, past the brewhouse, the malt kiln, the fermentation vessels and the Old Brewery Store, the Street has formed the spine of the Shepherd Neame brewery for hundreds of years.
The cobbled surface of the Street retains the character of this historic site and the walls are etched with stories; from the grooves in the brickwork, carved out over many years by the impact of dray carts, to the 1864 datestone on the brewhouse bearing what was, at that point in time, the name of the company, Shepherd & Mares.
Next stop, the malt kiln.
