Shepherd Neame’s award-winning Visitor Centre has been shortlisted for the Beautiful South Excellence Awards 2013-2014. The awards celebrate the best in tourism across the South East, with Britain’s oldest brewer being one of four finalists in the Small Attraction category. The Shepherd Neame Visitor Centre in Faversham has struck gold by going green, having received a gold award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme for its continuing work implementing and promoting sustainable practices.

The Woolpack at Chilham and the Shepherd Neame Visitor Centre were both successful at the Beautiful South's Awards for Excellence 2012 -2013 held at Denbies Wine Estate, Surrey.

Shepherd Neame has been shortlisted for a Tourism South East Beautiful South Excellence Award – known as the ‘Tourism Oscars’. The Visitor Centre, at the Faversham headquarters of Britain’s oldest brewer, is nominated in the Flavour of the South East category of the awards which recognise excellence, quality and innovation achieved over the last 18 months.

Shepherd Neame Visitor Centre has been named Best Little Treasure of Britain in the Group Travel Awards – the brewery’s third tourism award this year.The awards celebrate the best suppliers to the group travel industry, and this year the Little Treasures Award was introduced to recognise smaller, lesser known attractions in the UK.
