Situated in the centre of the quaint market town of Faversham, Kent, it is a licensed wedding venue with function rooms, offering you a complete and customisable package to help you celebrate your big day your way.
The brewery is licensed to hold marriage ceremonies in three very special spaces, allowing you to choose the ideal setting for your nuptials.
Perfect for beer enthusiasts, you can tie the knot in front of the traditional mash tuns and Millennium stained glass windows in the unique setting of our working brewhouse, which can house up to 50 guests standing.
Brewhouse weddings only take place on Saturdays.
Infuse your wedding day with the timeless, romantic charm of our Visitor Centre’s 15th century first floor function room. Set in a beautifully restored medieval hall house, it boasts original features including exposed oak beams and can accommodate 60 guests.
If you have a larger wedding party, up to 140 guests can attend your ceremony in our spacious Old Brewery Store events venue. Located in the former wines and spirit warehouse at the brewery, it is a self-contained venue that is full of character.
The Shepherd Neame brewery is the perfect choice for a wedding celebration. Our historic events space in the Visitor Centre can accommodate up to 60 guests, or the Old Brewery Store events venue can seat 140 guests banquet-style, and accommodate up to 300 for a buffet and evening party. The Old Brewery Store is fully equipped with its own bar and stage.
You may wish to consider using more than one of the areas. For example, you could marry in the brewhouse, hold your Wedding Breakfast in our Visitor Centre's events space and then transfer to the Old Brewery Store for your evening party.
For an extra special touch, we can create bottles of personalised Wedding Ale, either as unique favours for guests or to toast your marriage.
We can also arrange for your guests to take a brewery tour between your ceremony and the Wedding Breakfast. During this time, you and our photographer can take advantage of the brewery’s wealth of unique locations, perfect for capturing memorable wedding day photos.
