Shepherd Neame's Royal Warrant

Royal Warrant for Grant's Morella Cherry Brandy

King Charles III first granted a Royal Warrant to Shepherd Neame in 1998, in his former role as the Prince of Wales, for Grant’s Morella Cherry Brandy.

The liqueur dates back to 1774 - and celebrated its 250th anniversary in 2024 - and was originally produced by Thomas Grant and Sons until the 1950s. Shepherd Neame bought it in 1988.

Royal Warrant for Spitfire Amber Ale

In 2014, the Prince of Wales gave permission for the Royal Warrant to be used on bottles of our Spitfire Amber Ale. The Kentish ale was first brewed in 1990 to commemorate the Battle of Britain which was fought in the skies above Kent.

A true classic, it is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery.
