Get out and explore Kent's beautiful coast and countryside with the help of Shepherd Neame's pub walk guides. There are 16 walks to try, all between four and six miles in length, which take in a wide variety of terrains and environments, along with some of Kent’s most beautiful scenery.

They all start and finish at one of our pubs because, of course, the best thing about any ramble is rewarding yourself at the end with a drink or bite to eat!

National Parks and Landscapes

Explore areas of the stunning Kent Downs, High Weald and the South Downs National park with these moderate and challenging walks.

High Weald, Chelwood Gate

Red Lion

Starting and finishing at the stylish Red Lion country pub on the edge of Ashdown Forest, famed for its fabulous food, this moderate walk will take you over a variety of sandy tracks, woodlands, and mud and stony tracks, so walking boots are recommended.

Wilmington, Dartford

Horse & Groom

This relatively easy walk starts and finishes at the friendly The Horse & Groom pub in Wilmington. It will take you over a variety of paths; mud, grass, stony tracks, woodland paths, and country lanes. Walking boots are advised.
