Pub of the Week: The Bricklayers Arms, Bromley

Posted: 17th February 2017

The Bricklayers Arms is a traditional pub within easy walking distance of Bromley town centre.

Inside, you’ll find a split-level layout with bars on both floors.  Outside there’s seating on both levels, with a heated area for cooler days.

The Bricklayers serves tasty traditional pub meals, from sandwiches and light bites to something more generous, like beer battered cod and chips, or steak and Spitfire ale pie. There is also a seasonal menu to reflect the best available ingredients, and options for young diners.

On the bar you’ll find a range of quality cask ales, including seasonal beers, as well as lagers, cider and a good choice of wines.

The pub has a weekly general knowledge quiz every Thursday at 8pm, and regular live music with all styles ranging from the 60's to the present day. There are also open mic nights every second Tuesday of the month - all musicians and singers welcome.

The Bricklayers is proud to be affiliated with Bromley FC, and is situated just a 10 minute walk away from the club’s grounds at Hayes Lane, with a warm welcome for all match supporters both home and away.

Situated just a short walk from Bromley rail station, the Bricklayers Arms is well worth a visit, whether it’s a drink after work, lunch after a trip to the nearby Glades shopping centre, or a post-match pint. Pop in soon!
