Shepherd Neame Limited Directorate Change
Shepherd Neame Limited announces that, as a consequence of the business reorganisation around two trading divisions, Brewing and Brands and Retail and Tenanted Pubs, announced in July 2013, Tom Falcon, Production and Distribution Director, resigned as a Director at the end of December 2013. Graeme Craig, formerly Sales and Marketing Director, becomes Director of Brewing and Brands, with effect from January 2014. Nigel Bunting, currently Retail Director, will become Director of Retail and Tenanted Operations, with effect from July 2014.
Following Fran Lester's retirement at the end of November 2013, Robin Duncan, formerly Head of HR, has taken up the role of Company Secretary and has combined this with his previous duties.
Commenting on the announcement, Miles Templeman Chairman said:
I would like to thank Tom for his significant contribution to the Board. This reorganisation is a significant change for the business and was decided upon after very careful consideration of our options. Tom is an exceptional individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the company since joining in 2008 and will no doubt make a great success of his next role.
I would also like to thank Fran for her service to the Company and for her advice and guidance. I wish her well in retirement. We welcome Robin into the role of Company Secretary and look forward to working with him in this new capacity.
