Are you yearning for a seaside stroll or a panoramic pitstop?

As our sultry summer stretches ahead with August now underway, we’ve picked seven splendid Shepherd Neame sites with stunning views of the coast, perfect to kick back in and enjoy a chilled day out – and beverage.

Belle Vue, Ramsgate

If you’re looking for a picturesque place to stop off, make sure you head to the Belle Vue. If you make your way through the bar and out to the garden, you will be greeted by the “Balcony of Kent,” a glorious south-facing terrace featuring sea views for miles.

A great place to catch the sea air, sunshine and some Instagram-worthy sunsets, the popular pub also offers a warm welcome, delicious food and twice-weekly live music.

The iconic pub sits on the beach itself, providing views of the sea on three sides, and the chance to accompany your visit with some breathtaking sunsets, as well as tasty food.

Rated 14th in the UK for pub gardens, according to TripAdvisor reviews, the town is also a mecca for dog lovers and the beach-based seating makes it the perfect spot to settle with your four-legged friend after a coastal stroll.

The two-storey venue boasts stunning panoramic views of Bournemouth Bay, from the Isle of Wight to the Purbecks and beyond.

A unique offering in a unique location, it is renowned for offering locally-sourced food and drink, as well as stocking Shepherd Neame’s award-winning beers.
