Posted: 22nd May 2018

Enjoy fresh, vibrant flavours on the banks of Faversham creek at the Albion Taverna.

Located across the swing bridge just a short walk from the town centre, the waterfront pub is renowned for its delicious fusion of Mexican and British dishes.

There is something to suit every taste and occasion, from the lunch menu offering a delicious range of Burrito Wraps along with traditional favourites such as Scampi and chips, to the flavour-packed main menu including tender ribs, sizzling Fajitas and gourmet burgers. And you’re sure to be tempted by the pudding menu, which includes Chocolate Churros and a Giant Ice Cream Sundae Cup.

The Albion Taverna prides itself on being family-friendly, and there is an extensive Young Diners menu available, including favourites such as Crunchy Chicken Breast Fillets and Spaghetti Bolognese, along with Mini Fajitas and Spicy Beef Steak Chilli Tacos.

Food is served from 12 to 2.30pm and 6pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, from 12 to 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 12 to 9.30pm on Sunday. The pub is currently running a special offer on its sizzling Fajitas, with customers able to buy a single and get a double Fajita, available Monday to Wednesday.

In addition to offering mouthwatering food, the Albion Taverna is a great place to relax with a drink this summer. Soak up the sunshine on the front patio overlooking the river, or enjoy the peace of the secluded rear garden. And with the Shepherd Neame Brewery just 300 yards away, the pub boasts a perfectly fresh pint every time. Traditional Kentish ale Master Brew is always available along with a guest ale, currently Whitstable Bay Pale Ale. Sheps’ new Cinque Ports Five Grain Premium Lager and Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale are on tap, along with Whitstable Bay Blonde Lager and Spitfire Lager. International lager San Miguel is also currently being poured, along with Guinness and Orchard View cider.
