Pub of the Week: The Bloomsbury Tavern, London

Posted: 5th April 2017

The Bloomsbury Tavern is a traditional English pub in the heart of London’s theatre district.

Inside there is plenty of seating, wooden floors and panelling, and impressive stained glass windows, giving the pub a period feel that’s in keeping with its status as one of the most historic pubs in London.

On the bar you will find a choice of quality cask ales, lagers, and a good choice of wines, along with all your other favourites.

The menu offers a good range of pub food, with comforting classics such as Spitfire Ale sausage and mash, and beer battered cod and chips.  For a quick lunch there are also sandwiches and light bites.

If you’re looking for a venue for a business meeting or social group, there is a function room available for private hire, with catering available.

The Bloomsbury Tavern is ideally situated for drinks or dinner before a visit to the theatre, British Museum or other attractions nearby. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, post-work pint or weekend stop-off while exploring the capital.
