Pub of the Week: The Anglesey Arms, Bromley

Posted: 10th March 2017

The Anglesey Arms is a traditional local pub just a short walk from Bromley town centre.

With friendly staff and a lively atmosphere at busier times, you’ll quickly be made to feel at home at the Anglesey. Perch at the bar for a pint and a chat, or borrow one of the games from behind the bar.

Outside, there is a pleasant courtyard garden, with chairs and tables for sunnier days, and a covered area.

On the menu, you’ll find a good choice of pub classics, including scampi and chips, burgers, omelettes and more. On Sundays they serve their very popular Sunday roast, with a choice of meats, Yorkshires, homemade roast potatoes and seasonal veg.  Booking is highly recommended as the roast is very popular!

The Anglesey also hosts a pop-up restaurant every couple of months, with themed food nights. Join them on the 23rd March for a three course French menu for just £25 per person.

On the bar, you’ll find a choice of cask ales and lagers, as well as a good selection of wines, spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

The Anglesey hosts regular live music, DJ nights and occasional karaoke events.  There is a regular quiz every other Tuesday, with free sandwiches.
