Pub of the Week: The Foresters Arms, Tonbridge

Posted: 16th August 2016

The Foresters Arms is a popular pub in Tonbridge town centre, close to transport links and shops.

Refurbished earlier this year by new landlord Tyson, the pub now has a relaxed, laid back ambience, with touches of vintage décor, plants, and a whole host of art, movie posters, album covers and travel photography on the walls.

There is also a darts board, pool and bar billiards table, and table football, as well as a wide range of new and vintage board games around the pub for customers to enjoy.

Inside, the pub is spacious and airy, with ample seating, as well as a pleasant courtyard to the rear, with covered area, and a newly added front garden, ideal for watching the world go by.

On the menu is a range of authentic pizzas baked in a specialist oven, with toppings including including Margherita, Hawaiian and Pepperoni, along with Tyson's special Electric Banana, featuring Nutella and banana.

Pizza is available anytime the pub is open, and can also be ordered to take away.

On the bar you will find a choice of quality cask ales, plus a good range of international lagers, cider and Whitstable Bay Black stout, plus wines from around the world, prosecco, and a good choice of spirits.

The pub also offers cocktails, including the house favourite espresso martini, made with salted caramel vodka and Kahlua!

The Foresters is the perfect place to relax with family or friends, and chat over pizza and a pint. It’s the ideal lunch stop while shopping, or for winding down after work.

On Sundays there is a relaxed atmosphere, with Motown and reggae music on the sound system.
