Shepherd Neame extends its successful Charity of the Year partnership with Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS)

Britain’s oldest brewer Shepherd Neame is proud to announce that it has begun working with Britain’s Bravest Manufacturing Company.

Shepherd Neame staff turned out in force to welcome the RAF Spitfires Rugby 7s home from a 1300km bike ride to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Great Escape.

The annual Wheelie Bin Race is taking place at the Three Horseshoes in Hernhill, near Faversham, this Saturday (July 16). Launched at the Shepherd Neame pub more than a decade ago, the event sees teams of four racing elaborately decorated bins through the village, to raise money for charity.

The RAF Spitfires Rugby 7s team stopped off at Shepherd Neame brewery in Faversham as part of a 250 mile charity bike ride. The team, sponsored by Shepherd Neame’s Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale, undertook the mammoth challenge to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
