Shepherd Neame and fellow Kent business Karimix serve up a saucy new partnership

Britain's oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, has teamed up with fellow independent Kent business Karimix to launch a delicious new range of signature table sauces, now available across its pubs.

The new Sheps Originals collection features four flavour-packed sauces, carefully created to complement Shepherd Neame's seasonal menus, which champion locally sourced ingredients across its pubs in Kent and the South East.

Food manufacturer Karimix is based at Stone Stile Farm in the village of Selling, just six miles from Shepherd Neame's historic Faversham Brewery, and uses local produce suppliers including Thanet Earth.

The new range features:

  • Beer BBQ Sauce: a sweet, smoky barbecue sauce inspired by Singha, the original Thai lager which Shepherd Neame has produced for the UK market since 2022
  • Scotch Bonnet & Mango Chilli Sauce: combining tropical sweetness with a fiery kick
  • Chipotle Lemon Dressing: delivering a vibrant blend of citrus and smoky heat
  • Ranch Sauce: rich, creamy and tangy, making it the perfect all-round accompaniment

All of the sauces are suitable for vegetarians and are gluten-free, with the exception of the Beer BBQ Sauce, which contains barley malt to create the crisp, full-bodied flavour synonymous with Singha.

Karimix’s Marketing Manager Kelly Goldsmith said: “Karimix are delighted to partner with Shepherd Neame on this new range of table sauces. Bringing together our shared focus on quality and flavour, these sauces are designed to elevate everyday dining and deliver a consistent, great-tasting experience across the Shepherd Neame pubs.”

Shepherd Neame’s Head of Food Simon Howlett said:

“We are pleased to partner with Karimix to introduce our new Sheps Originals sauces. Karimix have built an excellent reputation for creating exceptional food products, and this collaboration also allows us to support local growers and showcase Kent produce. We can’t wait for customers to try these fantastic new flavours.”
