Independent family brewer and pub company Shepherd Neame is helping supporters raise a glass to England this summer - by giving away free pints of its limited-edition Hat-Trick Hero lager when the Three Lions score their first goals in the World Cup group matches.
Fans watching the action in participating Shepherd Neame pubs can claim a complimentary pint of Hat-Trick Hero when England net their opening goal.
Hat-Trick Hero (4.6%) is a full-flavoured golden lager crafted with three hops including English Challenger and American Mosaic – the trio that inspired its name.
The beer also celebrates a unique link between Shepherd Neame’s hometown of Faversham, Kent and England’s iconic Three Lions emblem. Faversham is the only town in the UK permitted to use the three gold lions of the Royal Arms of England as its own heraldic emblem - creating a natural connection between the national team and Britain’s oldest brewer.
Shepherd Neame’s Retail Operations Director Shane Godwin said: “The World Cup is all about bringing people together, and our pubs are the perfect places to enjoy the atmosphere with friends, family and fellow sports fans. We wanted to reward our customers while adding to the excitement of matchdays throughout the tournament. With such a strong link between the Three Lions and our home town of Faversham, this is a promotion we’re proud to share.”
The offer will be available in participating Shepherd Neame pubs during England World Cup fixtures throughout the tournament.
