Exclusive to Shepherd Neame
Creekside Coffee is a superior Arabica coffee blend boasting a unique taste and aroma, exclusively available in selected Shepherd Neame pubs and hotels.
We teamed up with fellow Kent independent family business John Street Beverage to create the coffee, which is sustainability sourced using Rainforest Alliance-certified beans.
Its name and distinctive logo was inspired by Faversham Creek, which runs through the heart of the medieval market town that has been home to Shepherd Neame for more than 300 years.
Grounds for change
We have launched a new recycling scheme for our Creekside Coffee grounds, aimed at reducing waste and offering customers a boost for their gardens.
Instead of disposing of the used coffee grounds as food waste, our team members now collect and repackage them in the empty coffee bean bags, sealed and ready for customers to take home, free of charge.
Coffee grounds benefit gardens as they are a natural soil enhancer, offering a nitrogen-rich boost that can be sprinkled directly around plants, or mixed into compost to enrich its nutrient content.
The new recycling scheme is the latest initiative in Shepherd Neame’s People, Pubs and Planet sustainability strategy, which includes a commitment to ensure zero waste to landfill.
