Centuries ago on a mysterious island in the middle of Faversham Creek, there lived a wild man and a bear.
Not much was known about them, just that they'd one day washed ashore and together had forged a life of rugged adventure, alone on the island.
It's to them that we raise a glass every day.
Our name and our brews are a salute to that long-forgotten spirit of mystery and adventure as well as our great trading past, combining native British hops with hops imported from the US.
The beer that started it all, Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale celebrates a fusion of British and US beer styles and flavours by combining Cascade and Amarillo hops, imported from the US, with native British Boadicea hops.
A full-flavoured lager crafted using a trio of distinctive hops, with Challenger from the UK, Saaz from the Czech Republic and US Mosaic. The bright orange colour scheme reflects the punchy, hop-forward flavours and aromas.
Combining four different hop varieties, Noughty Bear has been carefully formulated to ensure that it doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. The eye-catching beer has 70 calories and less than 1g of sugar per 330ml bottle, making it the lighter choice in every way.
