Double Stout is based on a coded brewers' log that was recently discovered in the brewery archives.
The use of the UK's last remaining solid oak mash tuns and East Kent Golding hops bear the hallmarks of a signature brew by Britain's oldest brewer.
Double Stout is available on draught from 25 February to 24 March
"This magnificent example of a classic double stout delivers a velvety-smooth palate of dry, burnt flavours - complemented by roast, cocoa and coffee notes. Black, creamy and delicious; it is a Shepherd Neame masterpiece."
