The Green Man, Brentwood

The Green Man

Whether out for a country walk, a round of golf or returning from work, this cosy, 500-year-old village pub is a great place to relax and enjoy a pint. The Green Man is not only close to the popular walks of Thornden Park Woods and Little Warley Common but is also handy for Hartswood Golf Course and the M25.

This pub is a friendly and comfortable local, with three original fireplaces, a good choice of cask ales and traditional home-cooked food, using the freshest of produce including vegetables and herbs from the pub garden.

In the warmer months don't miss the beautiful garden complete with pond and waterfall - The Green Man has won awards in the 'Brentwood in Bloom' award in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. There is plenty of seating and a popular barbeque area, often in use at weekends and for special events.
