The Bull Inn is a beautifully refurbished Public House dating back to 1645 and located in the typical Kentish Village of Bethersden, surrounded by rolling countryside and farmland in the Weald of Kent. The Pub has a vast history beginning it's life as a coach house with adjacent stables which still stand today.
At the heart of the pub is the food with homecooked, seasonal dishes ranging from warming homemade pies, to the classic Beer Battered Haddock and Chips, to delicious slow roasted Belly of Pork, with the utmost care taken to source local and high quality ingredients, delivering the best in traditional pub food and more.
Conveniently situated on the A28 The Bull is a great place to stop for refreshment, and is not far from several vineyards offering visits to the public, great walking and cycling country all around, and the lovely old town of Tenterden with its antique shops and independent boutiques.
There is both a traditional, comfortable bar area with a wealth of old beams, inviting inglenook fireplace and huge, cosy sofas to relax in along with a large seperate dining room.
Food is served daily in addition to the very popular Sunday Roast's. During the day there is the inviting Bar Menu, full of all the pub classics and more and from 5.30pm on offer is the very inticing Dinner Menu, offering a proper Supper. Both of these menus run alongside the Chef's ever changing, seaonal Specials Boards.
This really is a gem in a beautiful area of Kent - Well worth a visit!
