THE QUEENS HEAD
Located just off of the A2, half way between Canterbury and Faversham in Kent, the Queens Head is a traditional village pub & restaurant sat at the top end of Boughton Under Blean high street.
Currently trading Tuesday to Sunday, the Queens Head plays host to a diverse range of customers including the village locals and customers from outside of the area looking for a drink or bite to eat from either the traditional pub or pizza menu. It boasts a good early evening and weekend trade and a local golf society and back gammon group meet and dine at the pub every Thursday.
The Queens Head underwent a complete internal and external refurbishment scheme in 2019, so you will find the property and outdoor areas in great order throughout.
Internally this site is equipped with multifunctional trade areas to include a feature bar servery and large drinking/dining area, the snug, a private restaurant dining room and a further small private dining room come function room, accommodating approximately 90 covers in total.
Outside the garden refurbishment at the Queens Head included the introduction of a terrace area to the back of the property and bench seating in the large, family friendly, grassed garden, allowing you to cater for a further 80 covers outside when the sun is shining. There is also a large private customer car park making it perfect for destination diners.
The private accommodation has been recently redecorated and includes 3 large double bedrooms, a lounge, bathroom, kitchen and office.
Due to retirement, Shepherd Neame are looking for new tenants to take over the running of the Queens Head and this site has the potential to be available immediately, so for more information or to arrange a formal viewing please contact the Trade Recruitment Co-ordinator on 01795 542132.
