The Smack is a wet led, community pub located in the popular seaside town of Whitstable on the East Kent coast.

Named after an old fishing boat, you will find the Smack tucked neatly away in Middle Wall, just a stone’s throw from the beautiful beach front and one street back from Whitstable’s bustling high street.

Whitstable’s local community truly is at the heart of the Smack’s business, but it also plays host to a diverse range of other customers including day-tripper’s to this delightful town and music followers seeking out their regular live music and karaoke events.

Internally you will find a feature bar servery and an open plan trade area decked out with wooden floors, an open fire and a nautical theme. There is also a small but perfectly well equipped trade kitchen on site.

When the sun is shining customers flock to the Smack’s large pub garden in order to relax and unwind on the beach style decking and in the beach huts which act as covered seating. It is the perfect setting for operators to introduce all day BBQ’s during the summer months.

Moving forwards, we are looking for a customer focused, community led operator that can manage a seasonal business and  introduce a simple, consistent, quality food  offer together with a great range of well kept ales, beers and wines.
