THE PRINCESS OF WALES
Located on the Kent coast, the Princess of Wales is a traditional style, community led pub in Tivoli Road, Margate.
Just ten minutes' walk from Margate's main town centre and beach front, the Princess of Wales currently trades as a wet only operation and it has a good following of loyal, local regular customers that pop in each day for their usual pint and catch up. It is home to several darts teams that meet up on a weekly basis and it is a popular drop in spot for pool and sports followers in the area. Occasional live music and DJs are also well received by the locals.
The Princess of Wales is a large, spacious pub with plenty of room on offer both inside and out. Internally you will find a central feature bar servery with a U-shape trade drinking area for approx. 60 covers, a pool table, darts area and a domestic kitchen. A good sized beer garden to the back of the property boasts plenty of opportunity for outside drinking and entertainment and there is a small patio area to the front of the building which is popular with the locals.
The vast private accommodation at the Princess of Wales includes four large double bedrooms, a lounge/diner, private kitchen, office, bathroom and toilet.
Due to retirement, Shepherd Neame is now looking for new tenants to take on the Princess of Wales.
