THE WHITE HORSE INN

Located half way between Faversham and Canterbury in the Kentish countryside and dating back to the 15th century, the White Horse Inn is a former coaching inn that to this day continues to serve an important role in the village of Boughton under Blean.

Now a popular village pub & restaurant with thirteen letting bedrooms, the White Horse still wears its history with pride boasting low beamed ceilings, open log fires and providing an instant warm and cosy feeling on arrival.

Internally you will find a central feature bar servery, the front bar which is used for more relaxed drinking and dining and the main restaurant dining room for approx. 60 covers. The Thirteen ensuite letting bedrooms are set across both the main building and the hotel wing and there is an additional two bed managers flat with a bathroom on site. The trade kitchen with large walk in fridge and freezer leads on to a tea & coffee station, an office, storeroom, staff room with toilet and an abundance of storage space to include a linen store.

Outside you will not be disappointed, there is a pretty patio garden area with seating, a large customer car park with 15 additional private parking spaces for accommodation guests and there is a further large grassed garden area which is not currently utilised and could be bought back in to trade.

The tenants private accommodation comes in the form of a private house next door to the pub with 2/3 bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge, two bathrooms and a small private courtyard garden.

After nearly eleven years, Shepherd Neame is now looking for new tenants to take on the successful running of the White Horse, Boughton. This business has the potential to offer incoming tenants the opportunity to further enhance and develop all aspects of the trade, so for more information or to arrange a formal viewing of this site please contact the Trade Recruitment  Co-ordinator now on 01795 542132.
