Located on the main high street and referred to locally as the village Head Quarters, the George & Dragon is a traditional and friendly local’s pub that is packed full of community spirit.
A wet led operation with cask mark approved beers, the George & Dragon has a good following of local ale lovers and its classic pub food favourites, which are available every lunchtime and evening, keep the locals coming back time and time again. There is always something scheduled on the events calendar to include live music and jazz which play monthly, a monthly farmers market selling local produce and SKY and BT sports are available both inside and outside on large TV screens.
Internally, the George & Dragon houses a T-shape feature bar servery with relaxed open plan drinking and dining space for approx. 40 covers, a restaurant dining area for approx. 40 covers and a fully equipped trade kitchen.
