THE NEW FLYING HORSE INN
Located in the Kent Downs, the New Flying Horse is a traditional country pub & restaurant with nine letting bedrooms in Wye village, near Ashford.
A food led, destination dining site, the New Flying Horse has everything that you would expect from a great village pub & restaurant. It currently offers brasserie-style lunchtime dining and a full evening restaurant menu, including locally caught fish specials from the Kent coast.
Internally, you will find a feature bar servery set in the more relaxed drinking area together with separate restaurant dining space with open fireplaces for approximately sixty covers. The trade kitchen is a good size and fully equipped.
The nine ensuite guest letting bedrooms are located within a 17th century posting house and the converted coach house; they have been recently refurbished but still retain some of their original character and charm.
The outdoor areas at the New Flying Horse are certainly one of its unique selling points. Together with a large patio area with seating, you will also find two large garden spaces, one including a fenced in children’s play area. There is currently outside dining space for approximately sixty covers, with the potential to increase outdoor dining capacity significantly and there is customer car parking on site for around thirty five cars.
Shepherd Neame is looking for experienced, food led tenants to take over the successful running of this well established business and the New Flying Horse has the potential to be available immediately for the right applicants.
