Located on the south east of Ashford, the  Royal Oak is a four hundred year old gate keepers cottage which sits at the heart of  Mersham village in Kent.

 With flagstone floors, old oak beams and open fireplaces, this traditional English pub still retains many of its original features and some of its olde-worlde charm.

 Currently the Royal Oak trades as a wet led community pub with the Mersham village locals very much at the heart of the business. The pub has its own darts and pool teams that play in the local leagues and it has a great sports following due to the showing of SKY sports.  You will find a wide range of live music playing once a month and there is currently a limited food offer in place in the form of homemade  pizza.

 Internally the central feature bar servery accommodates multiple trade drinking and dining areas and there is also a cosy snug area available. There is a good sized trade kitchen with a pizza oven on site and there is also plenty of room for storage.

 Outside at the Royal Oak you will find a large grassed trade garden to the back of the property which is ideal of alfresco dining during the nice weather and there is also a private customer car park on site.
