For the first time in over 22 years, due to retirement Shepherd Neame is looking for new tenants to take over the successful running of the Coach & Horses, Whitstable.

Located at the North end of Whitstable’s busy high street, the Coach & Horses is a charming and roomy 17th Century pub & restaurant which has everything that you would expect from a great traditional locals' pub.

One of the only pubs in Whitstable that opens at 10.00am, it has a very loyal and long standing customer base with a lovely warm atmosphere and genuine sense  of community spirit. Great hospitality together with regular pub quizzes, darts and dominoes have kept the locals returning week after week, year after year at the Coach & Horses.

Internally the pub is in great order throughout and it includes a feature bar servery, an open plan u-shaped trade drinking area, a snug and restaurant dining space for approximately 20 covers.

There is a good sized and well equipped trade kitchen on site but currently the Coach & Horses only operates a limited Sunday lunch menu offer. Every week the existing lunches are a real hit with the Whitstable locals, so there is certainly the potential to implement a more consistent daily food offer moving forward.

Available from January 2018 onwards, the Coach & Horses is looking for new tenants that will immerse themselves in to Whitstable's local community. Whilst there is the opportunity to further develop both sides of the business at this site, it will also be vital that you maintain the friendly locals and its existing drinking trade at this pub.
