Fully refurbished in 2016, the Four Fathoms now combines age-old character with contemporary comfort, making it a unique place to soak up the seaside atmosphere.

Internally you will find a large multifunctional trade area featuring the bar, snug and lounge for more relaxed, informal drinking and dining together with a separate restaurant dining room, catering for approx. 80-90 covers in total. The trade kitchen is very well equipped and set out over two floors with a prep kitchen, dry stores and wash up area in the cellar.

Outside to the back of the property there is a great courtyard garden and terrace with external dining space for a further 30 covers during the good weather.

The Four Fathoms comes with large private tenant accommodation in good condition. Together with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 4 bedrooms, there is also 2 large private bedsit rooms with a shared bathroom.

The existing business operates at an approx. split of 55% wet and 45% food, with very strong weekend trade and the ever changing menu is inspired by the British Pub Classics and the Chefs favourite food menus from around the World. Regular events at the Four Fathoms include monthly roots & reggae nights, specialist food nights, live bands and music 3  weekends in 4, a midweek jazz band and Jam nights. They also cater for private parties and events on request.

Available quickly, the Four Fathoms is now on the market as the existing tenants are taking on a larger operation with Shepherd Neame.
