Set just on the outskirts of Maidstone town in Barming, the Duke of Edinburgh has proudly served its local community since the mid-1800s.

Following a complete refurbishment scheme around two years ago, the Duke of Edinburgh has a smart, modern interior and you will find it in immaculate order  throughout.

Internally there is plenty of space, with a large feature bar servery and multiple trade areas to include a relaxed bar area, and restaurant dining space for around 40 covers in total. A small conservatory style room leads out on to the back of the  building where you will find a terraced patio garden. There is a custom built and covered smoking solution together with customer car parking on site.

Currently the Duke of Edinburgh is being traded as a more food led business with a 100% gluten-free menu, so Shepherd Neame is looking for tenants with the ability to introduce a more traditional style food offer and perhaps pub sports and live music in order to reposition the pub in the local market.

There is the potential for this pub to be available quickly, so for more information or to arrange a formal viewing, please contact the Trade Recruitment Co-ordinator on 01795 542132.
