The Cock Horse Inn is a traditional destination dining pub & restaurant located just a mile and a half outside of Hildenborough, on the main B245 road in Tonbridge, Kent.

Built in 1502, the Cock Horse is a charming former coaching inn which takes its name from the heavy horses which used to help drag stagecoaches up a steep hill to the next village.

Inside, you will find a feature bar servery with  an open plan bar and restaurant dining area for approximately 30 covers and a good sized and well equipped trade kitchen. To the back of the property there is a two tier  decked patio area with seating for alfresco dining, together with customer car parking for around thirty cars.

Shepherd Neame is now looking for new tenants that will work in partnership with us as we move the Cock Horse forward to the next level and  re-position it within in the local market place.

This site would suit food loving, experienced operators that have both the catering and marketing skills required to re-establish the Cock Horse is a great destination dining business in Tonbridge.

With the right tenant in situ and business plan to support it, there is also the potential for a refurbishment scheme to be carried out at this site.
