The Rose & Crown offers a range of home cooked, traditional pub grub.
Our meat is sourced from Chart Farm where the emphasis is firmly on Quality. Our Fish is delivered direct from Billingsgate, our eggs are exclusively free range from Woods Farm and our vegetables are sourced locally wherever possible. We believe that using the best ingredients gives the best dining experience.
Our Sunday roasts are very special as we only use the very best fcuts and cook them just in time for lunch. We use the Ribeye of beef, the Loin of Lamb, our Pork is usually from Rare breed pigs and our chickens are Free range. There is often fresh fish on the menu and always vegetarian options.
On Fridays we offer traditional Fish and Chips. The fish is delivered from the market on Friday morning, so it is a sfvresh as possible. We make our own batter using Whitstable Bay ale and the result is probably the best fish and chips you have ever tasted.
Our regular menu is also popular and we often have a special alongside. We offer hand cut sandwiches for a quick and tasty lunch during the week and always have fresh brewed coffee and speciality teas available.
