The Plough is in the centre of Upper Dicker Village next to the exceptional St Bedes School, and popular with visitors to the nearby Michelham Priory, which is maintained by Sussex Past.
The Plough is probably one of the only pubs where there is an outside window in the middle of the building and is steeped with History. When the bar area was extended many years ago, the builders decided to leave the window in the wall, and it was re-discovered during more recent renovations.
The Plough was frequented by the infamous Horatio William Bottomley MP as it neighbored his estate
The Plough caters for weddings, birthdays, celebratory events and can provide facilities for private intimate occasions or meetings
