The Tudor Rose bar, restaurant and carvery extends a warm welcome amid a family-friendly atmosphere in surroundings of great character.
The carvery offers a selection of four meats and a wide selection of fresh vegetables while the restaurant provides an a la carte menu with a wide range of options from ham, egg and chips, mixed grill and fillet steak to the regularly changing specials board consisting of crispy belly pork, pan fried seabass and braised lamb shank.
Originally two cottages, the building dates from the 1750s and great care has been taken to preserve its warm, comfortable feel.
The pub’s hardwood floors, oak furniture and cream décor are complemented by chandeliers, paintings and drawings of the local area and an antique brewery clock in the conservatory.
