The Fountain Hotel

The Fountain Hotel, standing next to Sittingbourne station, is a traditional pub originally built in the Victorian era to cater for passengers on the new railway and has been a thriving hostelry ever since.

It is a sizeable, down-to-earth local, offering a friendly welcome and is used frequently by modern-day commuters, with a thriving heart of local regulars. The Fountain also hosts live music nights and offers darts, pool and free wi-fi.

The Fountain serves authentic Thai cuisine including curries, noodles, soups and stir frys. Vegetarian meals and English options are also on the menu. Food is available at lunchtimes and evenings.

Customers can be sure of a great pint at The Fountain and there is plenty of entertainment on offer. Sport is a popular topic among the staff and regulars with Sky Sports football and rugby screened regularly and darts and pool teams. The pub also supports two local football teams.

All-in-all, a fun, friendly, comfortable pub with a roaring open fire in the original feature fireplace for the winter and small garden with patio and seating for the warmer months.

What our customers say:

Good Sheps ales, fantastic Thai food and nice friendly atmosphere. Gordon

"It was lovely; beautiful fresh food, fantastic service, very relaxed... we all had a great time. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and colleagues. I will be calling from time to time for a take away." Tracey

"This is  fantastic pub! Great beer, great staff, great Thai food and, in my opinion, one of the best live music venues in Kent! Friday night is music night in the Fountain where some of the best bands around play. Shepherd Neame should be very proud of what has been achieved at this pub in the past year." Matt
