The Two Brewers, Rochester

Find us

The Two Brewers may be the smallest pub in Rochester but it is full of character. Built in 1683, the pub is nestled in the centre of the High Street and almost in the shadow of the town’s famous cathedral. Rochester Castle and the River Medway are also just a short walk away.

Only large enough to fit about 40 people, its size does not stop the pub from packing in the entertainment. It hosts live music every Sunday at 4pm with monthly jam and blues nights, while a group of local writers meets here each Monday evening.

Terrestrial rugby games are often shown on the big screen and the tiny bar stocks a surprisingly large wine selection. The Two Brewers is easy to get to, being within walking distance of the train station. The A2 runs parallel to the High Street and there is a public car park merely yards away.
