A rural pub on the outskirts of Higham, on the cusp of the Hoo Peninsula. It is just off the Saxon Shore Way, popular with walkers and cyclists.
By car: From the A2/M2, take Junction 1 at Watling Street onto the A289 towards Chatham Maritime. Take the second exit onto the B2000 Lower Rochester Road signposted to Cliffe and Cooling, then the second left towards Higham. The pub is approximately a mile-and-a-half away along a country lane.
By bus: There are bus stops right outside the pub, but services run only occasionally.
