This family-friendly traditional pub is on Halling High Street and has been a mainstay of village life for many years.

The Homeward Bound has all-round appeal as is often found in village inns.

SKY sport is shown on the TV and an eclectic mix of music is performed regularly. Sport is a big feature for the regular visitors with two darts teams, a cricket team, two football teams and a golf society all making the Homeward Bound their base. Quiz nights are held from time to time.

There is ample car parking which is accessed down the side of the pub, and a garden and patio area with seating for about 20 customers.

Halling is on the River Medway and the A228 skirts the village as it carries traffic from Rochester to the M20 and West Malling. Local attractions include Cobham Hall, approximately four miles away, an outstandingly beautiful red-brick mansion dating from 1584, and also the beautiful Great Comp Garden.
