With warming fires, good cask ales and tasty pub food, The Hatch, situated between Redhill and Reigate, is an attractive and traditional pub.

Close to RAF Redhill, a frontline airfield during the Second World War, the pictures of fighter planes in the horseshoe-shaped bar celebrate the local historic connection. The pub not only attracts a lot of local regulars but also passing trade from the A25, making it a handy stop for motorists.

In addition to serving a good range of beers and wines, home-cooked lunches and Sunday roasts, the pub also holds regular wine and Champagne tastings and live music. And for those not drinking, freshly ground coffee and Twinings tea are served throughout the day.

Customers can play darts or pool in what was, up until the mid-19th century, a wheelwrights and The Hatch also has a pleasant courtyard garden and tables to the front for relaxing in finer weather.
