The Bull at Riseley, Reading

The Bull at Riseley

A warm and cosy pub with two open fires burning throughout the winter evenings, and a warm and friendly welcome are what you can expect when entering The Bull.

The Bull has a dining area with the capacity for just 24 diners a further 16 diners can be accommadated in the bar area.

Booking for dinner is advised as we only book the table out once per evening, so as to enable people to dine at a leisurely pace and truly enjoy the tempting menu we offer.

We welcome children, accompanied by well behaved parents and we have now added a children's section to our menu

During the summer months why not come and sit in our gated garden, thus giving parents peace of mind that they can relax and enjoy a cool glass of something while their children are in a safe area.

"Thanks to Amanda and the team for an excellent meal, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, served beautifully and the attention given to us on what turned out to be a very busy Saturday evening, was first class. The icing on the cake was the evening entertainment, Amanda even getting me a dedicated song from NRG for us. We will certainly recommend The Bull for a great night out with a brilliant atmosphere and superb food." Pat

"We stopped at this delightful pub on the way from Wellington country park and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding as was the service...would highly recommend. I am now looking for a good reason to travel back down from London just to eat here." Siobhain

"Fantastic.  Lovely to have a family pub back in Riseley. Lovely atmosphere.  Amanda has done an amazing job on the pub and is always there with a smile.  Staff are very friendly too.  Nice and clean and in my opinion glad the pool table has gone to give way to a lovely eating area.  The food is lovely and should be tried - thoroughly reocmmend it.  Kids love it and finally there is a garden that is secure for them in the summer.  Good value for money too.  Couldn't ask for anything more.  Well done to you all for your hard work."
