THE SHARE & COULTER, GREENHILL
Why the Share & Coulter? The two essential parts of a plough were a horizontal blade (a share) and a vertical blade (a coulter). When the plough had finished its work, it was the turn of the harrow to break the clods of earth to make a good seed bed - hence the Plough & Harrow at Bridge.
The Share & Coulter is just off the new Thanet Way in Greenhill at the junction of Owls Hatch Rd and Thornden Wood Rd, it's got everything you could wish for in a traditional county pub - as our pictures show!
