THE CLARENDON HOTEL, DEAL

The Clarendon Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. It is situated on Deal seafront, opposite the pier, with parking at the rear of the hotel in Deal. Built in the mid 18th century. The hotel was named after the Earl of Clarendon, who was foreign secretary during the ministry of the Earl of Aberdeen. Julius Caesar landed a few hundred yards away in 55BC.

The hotel has 12 luxurious en-suite rooms, some with spectacular sea views. There are two superb restaurants overlooking the sea with extensive menus serving home cooked food at its finest. Function rooms are available for parties and weddings.

The coastal towns of Dover & Walmer with their interesting castles are within easy reach, as is the historical city of Canterbury. Golf fans are catered for by the superb links courses of Royal St Georges and Princes at Sandwich.
