Please note the Bishops Finger will be closed for refurbishment from the 8th April 2008 for 3 - 4 weeks
We apologise for the inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you in the future.
An historic 16th century public house, close to the Westgate Tower. The Bishops Finger is where the 'Canterbury Ghost Tour' ends and the final tale of the "Black Cat of St Dunstans" is told.
Close to all the major attractions of Canterbury, it's an ideal 'watering hole' for relaxing whilst enjoying the local sightseeing.
The Bishops Finger has attractive and comfortable bars, where a wide choice of different food is available (including a large vegetarian selection). Alternatively, there's a large beer garden and a conservatory area for enjoying that quiet drink.
Although frequented by all age groups, the pub is very popular with the 'young' in the evenings.
Chess sets are available and popular with the regular customers.
