The Anchor, Faversham is a beautiful old pub just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and very close to the historic Faversham creek. Some of the beams in the pub are reported to be from the Abbey in Faversham.
The pub is open all day and serves food lunchtimes and evenings. The regular menu offers outstanding pub food and the recently introduced 'tapas' menu includes many tempting dishes such as Chicken Siciliana, Calamari and Red Wine and Tom Yum Beef Noodles.
There is a separate area for functions and the pub can cater for a variety of special occasions. With live music every Saturday evening and a variety of special events throughout the year the Anchor is well worth a visit.
The Anchor has a popular garden with a Bat and Trap pitch and also has Wireless Broadband Internet Connectivity.
