The Queens Head

  • Welcome to The Queen's Head

A cosy local, The Queen's Head has been newly decorated both inside and out and has a bright, fresh atmosphere. The pub is a relaxed and friendly place where customers are free to enjoy a drink in the beer garden or get together with friends to play a game of darts or cribbage. Discos, karaoke sessions, Wii games and DVD nights are also among the entertainment. Tasty pub grub such as fish and chips and toasties are available.

The pub is easy to get to, being just 10 minutes from the centre of Mitcham. Buses, trains and even trams stop nearby.

The Queen's Head lies within a conservation area opposite what is believed to be the country’s oldest cricket green. The sport is said to have been played there since the 1690s, even once attracting Admiral Lord Nelson as a spectator, and the green is still in use today.
