A cosy local, The Queen's Head has been newly decorated both inside and out and has a bright, fresh atmosphere. The Queen's Head lies within a conservation area opposite what is believed to be the country’s oldest cricket green. The sport is said to have been played there since the 1690s, even once attracting Admiral Lord Nelson as a spectator, and the green is still in use today.
