The Orb is a popular pub on the edge of the seaside town of Margate. A friendly and comfortable pub, the warming fire and convivial atmosphere attract a loyal band of regulars, together with medical students and staff from the nearby hospital.

The Orb dates back to the reign of King Henry VII in 1493 and was originally known as the Crown and Sceptre. It was renamed The Orb in 1962. The pool room is thought to be haunted and ghostly noises are often heard when the room is empty. Perhaps the ghosts enjoy the occasional frame?
